Burrito Buddy to Launch Innovative New Product in June

(Boston) When Adam Gold created the design for his favorite Mexican cuisine, it was based on his passion for the burrito. What is a Burrito Buddy? Simply put it’s a practical disposable prop that supports the sometimes messy burrito by keeping the ingredients in the burrito and not on your table or desk. Gold said “ I love burritos, and would get them for lunch at least twice a week. Back when I had a desk job, I would bring my burrito back to my office and try slowly savor the Mexican goodness, but when the phone would ring or an important e-mail would pop-up I would have no where to put my burrito without making a mess. I feel like we’ve all been there.” Burrito Buddy’s unique package design is ideal for Mexican Casual Theme and Quick Serve Restaurants. It’s a practical solution for a long time problem.

It supports the burrito when you want to put it down without having the fillings fall out. Burrito Buddy will roll out its product nationwide in June with a trade campaign. For information on Burrito Buddy contact Adam Gold at 617.780.7892 or go to www.myburritobuddy.com

It looks like an ordinary delivery box. Does it fold flat to make a tray or something? What's the cost per 100 and is it recyclable?

how large is the box?
Adam Gold  - Size, cost and stock   |06-26-2008
The size of the Burrito Buddy when fully expanded is roughly 4.5 inches (width), 2.5 inches (depth) and 2.5 inches (height). We are still working out cost, and we are currently using the "greenest" stock possible within FDA regulations. Please visit myburritobuddy.com for more information.

I mispoke in my last post. Burrito buddy is 100% recyclable, but we will continually work to find even more eco-friendly stock.
