is a vodka with a "green" state of mind. Carrying environmentally
friendly manufacturing as far as they can, the distillers claim to have
saved 26 million BTU's of energy in the manufacturing of the labels for
the product alone.
Everything is "green" at the moment. You can't open a magazine or turn
on the TV without hearing about it. So why not a "green" vodka? It
tastes great - it is very smooth - and appeals on a number of levels.
Not least is the feel good factor you get when you drink something that
is not adding, in any significant way, to the warming of the planet.
I wonder if this is the thing of the future? Will we see a metaphorical
wave of green drinks for the restaurant industry? There is certainly
enough consumer interest to warrant it. Especially among the younger
generation, "green" is so hot that almost anything bearing the monicker
sells like hot cakes. If you don't have 360 on your bar shelf then you
should probably at least consider it. Makes me think of St. Paddy's Day
in Boston - green beer and all!
